What do you call flowers with rainbow colours? Happy flowers, of course! They are so called because that’s the feeling you get when you see them.

Peter van de Werken of River Flowers, a Netherlands Company, has perfected a unique technique for changing each petal of a single rose to a rainbow of colours. When a white flower is put on water with natural pigments, the stem absorbs this water in a natural way and changes the color of the flower. This technique is common, but what is unique about this every single petal is allowed to get its own colour and that’s how a single flower gets its rainbow colour and what’s more you can get it customized to match your wedding dress or your home decor.

The vase life of these roses is between 11 to 16 days. A single stem costs $6. Don’t wait for an occassion to cheer your loved ones with these flowers. Every day is a celebration with HAPPY FLOWERS!

You can change the color of your Hydrangea macrophylla by simply modifying the pH of the soil. Generally, Hydrangea flowers are produced from early spring to late autumn and have 70-75 species of flowering plant. Most of the species produce white flowers but Hydrangea macrophylla can be in blue, red, pink, or purple.

To get blue hydrangeas modify your soil’s pH between 4.5 and 5.5.
For pink to light red hydrangeas soil needs pH of 6.5 to 7.5. Add ground limestone only around the plant to make the blossoms pink.

Always remember pH beyond 7.5 result in poor growth.

It is believed that turning soil at night can reduce weeds. Yes! This is not a myth rather a German study proved that by turning the soil at night, weed germination could be controlled upto 78 percent. The reason behind this is that weeds may be energized to grow by sudden flash of light and that happens when the soil is turned during day. If this is reality then what could be better than this. In case this does not help then pull, out new and tender weeds by hand, as they appear on soil.
