Insecticides are used to control unwanted pests. But it is always better to use low toxic and effective pesticide as highly toxic one are harmful to human beings. Insecticide must sprayed thoroughly all over the plant, especially the fresh growing tips where insects reside. It must be applied every 7 - 10 days in order to get rid of the eggs of the insects which are resistant to insecticides.
