An article emphasizes on some important things to remember while doing gardening in the month of June. This includes the following:
1. Retaining soil moisture with pine needles, compost, pine bark and oak.
2. Mowing the lawn before you leave for vacations.
3. Renewal of landscape by replacing dead plants with container-grown plants.
4. Pruning Gardenias before their season is over.
5. Continual reaping of vegetables to ensure regular yield.
6. Container-plants should be watered regularly to ensure that the soil is moist.
7. Planting summer flowers.
8. Pesticides might destroy the plants in a warm weather, therefore you must go through the manual before spraying pesticides.

Since so many people today are using containers on their decks or roofs or wherever actual gardening space is limited, I think that they need to realize that any plants in pots require more frequent watering than those actually in the ground. Someone going on vacation might engage a friend or neighbor to water their containers or should perhaps in some sort of drip irrigation system so they don’t return to a container full of dead plants!
Nice gardening tips, and it’s never a waist of time to work in your garden since it’s enjoying life at the same time.
